Due to the legal requirements involved with alcohol there are certain details that need to be included on each label which are specific to each wine.

Label designs are not subject to approval. Please note that the digital template produced on this site is for illustration purposes only and is not a 'print proof'.

Confirmation will be e-mailed to the mailing address given by the purchaser as a receipt, please refer to this number in all correspondence to Custom Wines.

How long does it take to receive order?
We require 3 working days to produce and deliver your order.

When do we deliver?
Monday to Friday of any week excluding any public or bank holidays in any part of the UK mainland. We do not offer guaranteed delivery or deliver on Sundays, Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Saturday Guaranteed delivery is available for an additional fee.

Please try and ensure named recipient is available to receive delivery.

A signature will be obtained on delivery of Item from the recipient but not necessarily the addressee. In the event that no-one is available to receive a Special Delivery item, a card will be left providing the customer with the option to have the item delivered at a later date. The attempted delivery shall constitute delivery for purposes of our guarantee.

If a preferred delivery date is specified, we shall send goods the preceeding day by Royal Mail quaranteed next day special delivery. If the recipient is not available to accept delivery, we cannot give assurance that the recipient shall receive your order on the day specified.

If we are unable to deliver your order or there will be a delay we will contact you to let you know. If this is not acceptable then your order will be cancelled.

Rest of the World - Due to regulations governing import of alcohol in certain countries, we do not provide an overseas delivery service.

If your item is not in stock, we will select an appropriate substitute for you, of equal or greater value than the wine you have purchased. You will be notified by e-mail if this substitution is necessary, and you will be given the option to progress with the substitute wine, cancel your order or wait for the wine you ordered to be in-stock.

Tax and duty charges are included in the price of the goods.

Our standard packaging consists of a mail safe, double layer cardboard box. If you order gift box packaging your wine bottle will be securely packed with bubble wrap in the box and sent within mail safe cardboard box for safe transit.

Shipping and handling costs are added to your order when you proceed to checkout.

Under the Home Shopping : Distance Selling Regulations private purchasers have the right to cancel the order up to 7 days after receipt of items if the items have not been used. However, this does not apply to items made to a purchasers own specification (eg: personalised labels, personalisation, own branding etc).

Returning of items is the resonsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. Failure to return at the customers expense (except where the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract) Custom Wines will recover the items and offset the amount against any refund due. If the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract Custom Wines will be liable for return charges.

Cancellation of orders must be made by letter or email.

Refunds for returned and cancelled orders will be made as soon as possible and within 30 days of return.

The Home Shopping : Distance Selling Regulations does not apply to Business purchases.
